Mobile wallet to bank

Anyone who is registered on Mobile Money can make use of this facility where you can send money from your
mobile wallet (M-Pesa; TigoPesa; Airtel Money) to an Absa current or savings account (local currency accounts only).
The money is available in the beneficiary’s account instantly.

How to send money to an Absa account

From your Vodacom M-Pesa wallet
Dial *150*00#

Select Financial Services

Select M-Pesa to Bank

Choose Absa Bank

Enter the account number (branch code and account number combined*)

Enter amount

Transaction details are displayed for confirmation

Enter mobile wallet PIN to complete the transaction

* For example, if the number is 015-1040896 or 001-1040896, enter 0151040896 or 0011040896
From your TigoPesa wallet
Dial *150*01#

Select Financial Services

Select TigoPesa to Bank

Choose Absa Bank

Enter the account number (branch code and account number combined*)

Enter amount

Transaction details are displayed for confirmation
