Hijack benefit 

• Payment amount to the benefit amount if the cardholder is detained in the event that the aircraft or sea vessel in which they are travelling as a fare-paying passenger on a journey is hijacked

• Max benefit payment of USD500 
• Daily benefit of limit of USD25  
• Payment is up to a maximum of 21 days

Notify within 90 days of becoming aware of an incident or loss leading to a claim, and provide:

• Full name
• First 9 digits of the covered card number
• Cardholder's address
• The section under which the cardholder wishes to make a claim
• Brief details of the claim
